With years of leadership experience and a deep belief in the transformative power of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Bruno created this academy to empower individuals of all ages. His mission is to instill confidence, discipline, and resilience through world-class training in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Head Coach Professor Ancelmo Sobrinho
Professor Ancelmo is a 2nd-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt from Brazil, with over 20 years of experience on the mats. As Head Instructor at Gracie Barra Heber City, he brings a unique approach to teaching that blends deep technical expertise with a lifelong philosophy of balance, angle, and mobility. Specializing in working with kids, Professor Ancelmo is known for his patience, positivity, and ability to help young students grow in confidence, discipline, and self-awareness. Whether coaching beginners or advanced athletes, his goal is always to inspire growth—on and off the mat—through the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
